Sewing and Fashion Design Class Series
Service Description
Welcome to SKETCH A sewing & fashion design series This class is ideal for students ages 14 & older (YES, adults too!). Class size is limited to 6 students. Sewing machines, basic tools, black and white thread are provided. You will need to provide your fabric and supplies. Supply list will be determined by teacher and student. This is a 4 week series, designed to be attended ongoing throughout the year. Classes are Fridays from 6:00-8:00 pm. Students will learn fashion design fundamentals and will work at their own pace to finish projects. Instructor will assist with proper technique and teaching new skills. During each session, students will spend time learning about fabric types, design, sketching, taking measurements, working with dress forms , working with models, basic pattern making and SEW much more! Time will be spent learning sewing techniques for clothing construction. Students must already have basic sewing skills, as sewing basics and machine use will not be taught in SKETCH. Students wishing to learn how to sew, should enroll in our beginner basics course, Sewing S'cool. No Refunds. There will be no refunds issued for no shows. Please make sure you are dedicated to attending classes prior to signing up as no refunds will be issued for any reason. Missed Classes- Make up classes are not available. Students wishing to make up a missed class should book an Individual Sewing Session We look forward to creating something beautiful with you!

Cancellation Policy
CONSULTATIONS All consultation deposits are non-refundable. Please make sure the date works for you before booking. There is a $10 non-refundable reschedule fee, if rescheduled at least 48 hours (2 days) in advance. Cancellations or rescheduling less than 48 hours in advance require re-booking & payment of consultation fee. CLASSES All class fees are non-refundable. Please make sure the date works for you before signing up. The fee for each class must be paid at sign-up to secure your spot in the class. There is a class minimum of two students. If we do not reach the minimum, we will notify you at least 24 hours prior to the class. Class registration ends 24 hours prior to class. No exceptions can be made to this policy. Be sure to mark your calendar with the date your class is scheduled to begin. Sewing S'cool will not send out additional reminders before your class starts. Unfortunately, due to our busy classroom schedule, we do not have the ability to offer make-up classes. If you miss a class meeting you may choose to schedule a private lesson for $55 with your instructor to catch up on the class. General: We keep our classes small and they do fill quickly. All classes take place at RL & Co Studios, 2804 E. 55th Place, Suite Q, in Indianapolis, IN. If you have any questions feel free to give Sewing S'cool a call at 317-759-3144 WORKSHOP POLICIES: All projects are made using a sewing machine. Open to anyone ages 8 and over This is a strictly drop-off type of activity. Only enrolled students are allowed in the studio during workshop time. All workshop registrations fees are not refundable or transferable for cancellations or non-attendance.
